This chapter emphasises the importance of multidisciplinaryMultidisciplinary investigation in understanding the complexities of inequalityInequality by examining the social, economic, and political aspects that contribute to disparities. It examines what happened in four countries: South AfricaSouth Africa, GermanyGermany, IndiaIndia, and MalaysiaMalaysia. This demonstrates that different strategies and promises are required to make the SDGs effective in each country.
