Urbanisation plays a crucial influence on biodiversity, involving the circumstances of amphibian populations as the natural habitats had gradually changed into urban landscapes. It is essential to understand the dynamics of the order Anura distribution in the urban area to engage in effective conservation and urban planning efforts. This study applies ArcGIS, a Geographic Information System (GIS) tool, in detecting the distribution patterns of anuran in the targeted urban landscape. Within the urban terrains, field surveys were conducted to collect data of their occurrence compiling the environmental variables and other parameters. Geospatial species mapping analyses were conducted by utilising spatial analysis to identify the habitats’ preferences for anuran species and obtain the ramification of urbanisation on their distribution. The result indicates that urbanisation has a significant impact on anuran habitat availability, where certain species have high adaptability to anthropogenic landscapes, while others encounter habitat loss and fragmentation. This study emphasises the efficacy of spatial analysis as a mechanism for comprehension and mitigating the impacts of urbanisation on anuran species richness, by highlighting the value of integrating geospatial analysis into urban planning and biodiversity conservation strategies.

摘要
