This chapter examines the identified deficiencies regarding the requirements for the quality of goods in Ghana through the lens of English law for possible guidance in resolving the shortfalls of the law in Ghana. From the comparative analysis, this chapter argues that while the quality frameworks under English law provide helpful guidance, some modifications are necessary to properly align the frameworks to the tailored needs of consumers in Ghana. Consequently, the chapter sets out the specific modifications that are crucial to effectively address the shortcomings of the law in Ghana for the protection of consumers when confronted with faulty goods.
