Fourier transformFourier transforms are very capable tools especially in filterFiltering applications aiming to observe the behaviour of the system under various frequencies. In theory, any necessary calculations can be done in time domain. However, aforementioned transforms can dramatically reduce not only the computational cost but also the time spent for calculations. Therefore, they are inevitably employed in signal processing applications. In this chapter, Discrete time Fourier transformFourier transform (DTFTDiscrete-Time Fourier Transform (DTFT)) is introduced in detail.
