The Likelihood of Terrorist Attacks Being Successful
摘要
This chapter continues the quantitative analysis of militancy in each of these theatres using data from the University of Maryland’s Global Terrorism Database. This analysis focuses on the likelihood of terrorist activities being successful. The observed differences in the overall success rates of terrorist attacks between the Congress and BJP governments showed that in Jammu and Kashmir the likelihood of attacks being successful was significantly higher under the Congress, this was not the case for the Red Corridor and the Northeast.
