The Northern Current loops back through ideas, not to summarize or resolve them, but to deepen, entangle, and reanimate them through movement, memory, and metaphor. Rather than offering a checklist of Critical, Indigenous, and Clown (CIC) contributions to education, this chapter invites readers to walk a trail shaped by story-listening; a trail marked by pauses, tensions, co-theorizing, and echoes of those who walked before. Woven through this Current are the stories of three of the author’s former students, whose lived experiences help illuminate how theory, memory, and relationality come alive through dialogue, vulnerability, and shared movement. Drawing on the concepts of wayfinding and wayfaring, this chapter encourages educators to dwell in non-linearity, to embrace the not-yet, and to be transformed through dialogical encounters. In this chapter, the animated world calls us to listen with and alongside more-than-human beings, honoring reciprocity, interdependence, and the holistic entanglements that shape how we learn, teach, and live together. Finally, through an improvisational stance—based on collaboration, vulnerability, and playfulness—the Northern Current also invites us to say “Yes! And” to theory as movement, to play as a rigorous way of coming-to-know, and to education as a collective victory.
