Health care is especially susceptible to cyberattacks. Cybercriminals are seeking security weaknesses as the healthcare business quickly develops and moves toward digital offerings. Due to technological advancements, the healthcare industry faces several strong threats like ransomware. Ransomware, a cyberattack that extorts money, has increased. Its disagreements have decreased in recent years. This study examines ransomware attacks and offers solutions. This study classifies blockchain, software-defined networks, and machine learning techniques used to protect healthcare organizations against ransomware attacks. It also highlights the multiple challenges academics confront in trying to solve healthcare ransomware attacks.
