Let’s take a furtive look behind the scenes, inside Palazzo Balestra, the headquarters of the Undersecretariat for Press and Propaganda, where the foreign broadcasts were produced. To do so we’ll be drawing from the word of two eyewitnesses, rather than from archival documents.
