The FEMA-P58 theory is used to evaluate the seismic isolation performance of frame seismic wall structures. According to the designed multi-story frame seismic wall structure, seismic isolation bearings are added to form a seismic isolation frame seismic wall structure. Two structural finite element models are established using finite element software, and appropriate ground motions are selected and amplitude modulated to conduct nonlinear structural response analysis of the two structures. Using the strength based method in FEMA P-58 theory, the performance evaluation of two structures under rare earthquake intensity was conducted, and the evaluation results of various performance indicators were compared and analyzed. The loss assessment results show that the maintenance cost and maintenance time of the isolated-frame wall structure under rare earthquake are significantly reduced, and the use of isolation-bearing can significantly improve the seismic toughness of the building.
