The discussion foregrounds how pedagogical practices are shaped by local conditions, disciplinary traditions, and industry standards. By revisiting key themes across the book, this chapter argues for a pedagogically grounded approach to simulation. Finally, the chapter outlines several directions for developing simulation pedagogies in MET, pointing toward a future in which simulation is not only a site for training, but a space for engaging with the complexities of professional learning in an increasingly technically advanced and globalised maritime sector.
