This chapter reviews otolaryngologic conditions that may mimic or contribute to orofacial pain, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary evaluation. It discusses disorders of the ear, nose, paranasal sinuses, pharynx, and larynx, highlighting their referred pain patterns, clinical presentation, and diagnostic considerations. Special attention is given to differentiating primary dental or temporomandibular joint pathology from pain of otolaryngologic origin. Early recognition and collaboration between dental and ENT specialists are essential to ensure accurate diagnosis, avoid unnecessary interventions, and provide effective management.
