Enhancing Attendance Management: A Novel Approach Using Advanced Face Recognition Technology

In this era of advancing technology, the need for efficient and secure attendance tracking system has become even more essential. This article presents the Face Recognition Attendance System (FRAS) which seeks to remedies for the shortfalls associated with the conventional attendance maintenance systems. Conventional methods of attendance taking tend to waste a lot of time, are mistake-prone, and are subject to abuse. In this situation this paper aims at creating a Face Recognition Attendance System (FRAS). The FRAS employs state-of-the-art facial recognition technologies to allow for attendance in various spaces from schools to offices. Noteworthy among the characteristics of the FRAS is the presence of the real-time attendance registration, appropriate protection against unauthorized access to attendance information, and simple operating interfaces for administrators and the end users. This paper proposes the development of a face recognition attendance system which describes how Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision Technologies can be used into the process of the attendance recording. This paper investigates the extent to which face recognition technology is capable of revolutionizing the attendance management process for better accuracy, speed and security. In this paper, we assess the face recognition technology and its applicability looking at the problems it aims to solve in attendance systems. This paper is therefore aimed at assisting organizations that are ready to modernize and improve their attendance systems with the use of face recognition technology.
