Advances in educational technology have reshaped learning methodologies, particularly in computing education. Traditional methods often fail to engage students effectively when teaching abstract concepts like artificial intelligence (AI). This paper presents FlashTap, a web-based visual learning application designed to enhance motivation and understanding among undergraduate computing students. The study followed a three-phase methodology: identifying motivational learning factors, developing the application using Agile methodology, and evaluating its effectiveness through user testing. Results indicated significant improvements in student motivation, comprehension, and confidence. The integration of digital flashcards, animations, and interactive quizzes transformed AI learning into a more engaging experience. These findings highlight FlashTap’s potential to bridge the engagement gap in computing education and serve as a foundation for future research in AI-based learning platforms.

摘要
