Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides high-resolution images of the structures of the inner ear and pontocerebellar angle. The knowledge of inner ear anatomy and of the cranial nerves in the pontocerebellar angle is essential for the diagnosis of various pathological conditions. This chapter will describe in detail the anatomy of the structures of the inner ear and pontocerebellar angle and of the labyrinth including the cochlea, the vestibule, and the semicircular canals as well as the MR Imaging of the membranous labyrinth.
