Pre and Post-surgical Imaging, Prosthesis and Cochlear Implant
摘要
Postsurgical imaging is often required after middle ear surgical intervention, such as cholesteatoma removal, or after positioning ossicular prosthesis and cochlear implant. Multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) or cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) are the main techniques that are used in this context. In this chapter CBCT images are provided in case of tympanoplasty, mastoidectomies, ossiculoplasty, and positioning of cochlear implant.
