The gap-compression ramp is a simplified shape of the trailing edge rudder of hypersonic vehicle which accompanied with complicated local unsteady separation flow. It has an obvious influence to the aerodynamic performance and affects the control effect of the rudder. Particle image velocimetry and schlieren were used to obtain the local spatial flow characteristics of the gap-compression ramp. The flow characteristics and spatial shock wave distribution of the local interference region were obtained under different rudder gaps. The variation characteristics of the flow separation under different rudder gaps were compared and found that there were suction and overflow effects at the gap. It has an obvious influence on the size and location of separation flow. Besides, the oscillation characteristics of the separation shock were also different to the common compression ramp.

摘要
