VACS: A Modular Software System for Vehicular Access Control

This paper presents the design and implementation of the Vehicular Access Control System (VACS), a modular platform for secure and automated vehicle entry management. Integrating web services, database orchestration, and REST APIs, VACS interoperates with external components like license plate recognition modules. The system offers user role management, vehicle registration, real-time monitoring, and audit logging, all within a scalable and extensible architecture suited for institutional deployments.
