In this chapter, five real-life examples are presented, which relate to field experiments in agriculture. A work plan is proposed as a guide to produce reliable results and reach correct conclusions, which are fully supported by the data at hand. These examples are about a genotype experiment in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), a Latin square experiment to compare adjuvants, a two-factor factorial RCBD experiment to compare genotypes at different N levels, a nested design to compare maize crosses, and a germination experiment repeated in two different ovens. R codes are given, as well as several hints of general interest that might be easily transferred to other experiments in other situations.

摘要
