Data mining technology has played a very important role in the development of social economy and culture. With the continuous iterative update of big data technology, the volume and form of data are changing with each passing day. Therefore, data mining technology will be constantly updated with the change of big data technology. Moreover, a large number of applications in various fields of society make the practical application ability of data mining course higher and higher. Students are required to have good theoretical innovation ability, while the traditional offline teaching mode generally has the problem of emphasizing theory over practice. This paper puts forward a two-dimensional hybrid teaching design scheme of “online + offline” and “theory + practice”, and combines data mining technology for data processing, and applies it to the teaching of practical courses. The teaching scheme is based on offline theoretical teaching and supplemented by online practical teaching, so as to cultivate students' engineering practice ability and improve their thinking innovation ability.
