Throughout this chapter, we deepen our study of some of the trends detected in Chap. 6 through new exploratory analyses and a review of specific data. The locations of rock art sites, chenques, quarries, and hunting stands are characterized and discussed in relation to the existing regional knowledge corpus. Integrating this information with that from other environmental, ethnographic, archaeological, and ethnoarchaeological studies, as well as the patterns obtained, allows us to characterize the locational decisions of the hunter-gatherers who inhabited the La Primavera locality in the past.

摘要

Throughout this chapter, we deepen our study of some of the trends detected in Chap. 6 through new exploratory analyses and a review of specific data. The locations of rock art sites, chenques, quarries, and hunting stands are characterized and discussed in relation to the existing regional knowledge corpus. Integrating this information with that from other environmental, ethnographic, archaeological, and ethnoarchaeological studies, as well as the patterns obtained, allows us to characterize the locational decisions of the hunter-gatherers who inhabited the La Primavera locality in the past.
