Information technologies dominate our lives. More and more resources are allocated to us, and we actively use them. Biometrics is one of the technologies that helps us uniquely determine a person’s identity. However, living and working conditions often pose challenges in the use of biometrics. Too much light towards the biometric sensor, elevated temperature of the environment around and on the sensor itself, dirty fingers, makeup on the face, and glasses are just some of the problems that can contribute to not recognizing the biometric pattern. Therefore, the acquisition process is essential when using biometric systems to identify a person’s identity. This paper will deal with the data model that can be used when modelling the biometric system and the acquisition process as its indispensable part.

摘要
