Technologies based on the use of Artificial Intelligence lead to a statistical reduction of damages resulting from human error, but at the same time, they give rise to new risks, which must be managed. From this perspective, the chapter examines the role played by civil liability in preventing damages, allocating their cost according to criteria of justice and efficiency.
