Higher Education is experiencing a radical transformation, as the integration of Artificial Intelligence in society is ever-increasing, leading to new challenges regarding the respect of human and social values and the strengthening of social cohesion within the educational environment. In this sense, the Human-AI Synergistic Model in Higher Education (HAISMHE) aims at responding to these challenges combining the technological advances brought by the AI and the promotion of human interactions and social dynamics and competencies. This research proposes a model based on a holistic approach with seven interdependent elements: enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration, the use of trans-disciplinary approaches, creating hybrid learning settings, ethical governance of technologies, continuous professional development of educators, guaranteeing equity, and social inclusivity, and establishing adaptive assessment systems. This model suggests a framework a balanced education system able to achieve the benefits of new technologies without losing critical aspects of what human is.

摘要
