The aim of this study is to examine the potential of digitizing patient-focused hospital logistics. From this perspective, the digitization of hospital logistics can be defined as the development of information systems and the adoption of innovative technologies, aimed at strengthening supply chain integration and thereby improving healthcare services and the sustainable performance of the healthcare sector. To this end, we explored two facets: the working environment and patient flow management, as part of the patient-centric hospital logistics digitization initiative, which could generate significant benefits for this sector. The methodology adopted enabled us to construct the facets for improving patient care services as part of the digitization of the hospital supply chain. Experience has shown that the healthcare sector has encountered difficulties, in terms of digitization, in integrating state-of-the-art supply chain management practices. Digitizing the working environment and managing patient flows improves the efficiency, safety and accessibility of care, while offering more individualized care better adapted to patients’ needs.

摘要
