Ethical Challenges of LLMs in Education: Educational Transformation through LLMs—A Comprehensive Study of E-Learning Advances
摘要
This paper explores the fascinating evolution of large language models (LLMs), tracing their development from the conceptual foundations laid by Turing machines to the sophisticated implementations of which OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3 and ChatGPT-4 are examples. The study begins by outlining the limitations faced by traditional language models, such as the vanishing gradient and fixed context problems, and discusses how advances in LLMs have overcame these challenges. It then examines the significant impact of LLMs in the fields of education and e-learning, highlighting how These models made it possible to overcome traditional barriers and enhance learning experiences. This paper represents a comprehensive analysis study to provide an in-depth understanding of the progress, evolution and influence of LLMs emerging applications as well as ethical concerns that are faced in context of education.
