摘要

In this chapter, we start by defining key concepts related to the topic of this book, such as cooperation, collaboration, and co-creativity, and we point out characteristics as well as difficulties and risks observed in collective and group creative activities. We also introduce several models in cognitive, ergonomics, and social psychology that contribute to a better understanding of necessary conditions for carrying out collaboration and/or cooperation in creative situations. Then, we describe studies illustrating methods that can be used during human–human interactions as well as digital systems based on both human–human and human–system (or human-computer) interactions, proned as effective in enhancing collective creative activities.
