Air Traffic Control System Controller Performance Under Loss of Spatial Orientation
摘要
The professional work of an air traffic controller is based on the structure and functions of the air traffic control system. The air traffic control system is designed to ensure the safe, orderly and rapid movement of air traffic and is a complex ergatical system in which the air traffic controller plays a central role. The confusion experienced by air traffic controllers can present a wide range of hazards, including all aviation operations. Control and management of factors that cause disorientation improves the decision-making process and allows timely prevention of negative consequences. Two reasons for losing your bearings: This happens because the dispatcher load is incorrectly calculated. For this reason, when the dispatcher handles more flights than the workload, the handling of other than standard conditions of the controlled aircraft, conflict situations, special cases and risks is not taken into account. It is very dangerous. Because of this, the dispatcher is overloaded with too many flights, which almost leads to disorientation. For this reason, it is based on determining the level of concern of the controller and correctly calculating the workload.
