The differential equation of curvature was solved as a special case and the equation obtained on its basis was modified. A constant is added to the basic equation to account for all boundary conditions. Based on the last obtained equation, the cam profile of the cam roller mechanism was constructed. A kinematic analysis of the thruster was performed and diagrams of displacement, velocity, acceleration and jump were constructed. Based on the presented equation, the profiled cam ensures the movement of the pusher with slight shocks. A dynamic analysis of the thruster was performed and the torsional moment acting on the cam was calculated using the instantaneous velocity center.
