In this work, we describe a unique method for automated door-closing systems based on the number of people present near the entrance. The major goal of this system is to improve door functioning by dynamically modifying the closing mechanism based on real-time occupancy data. The system uses proximity sensors and motion detection technologies to correctly identify the presence of people coming or departing the entryway. The use of this intelligent door-closing technology has various benefits over traditional methods. By automatically altering the door closing speed and timing based on occupancy levels, the technology improves the user experience by offering smooth and responsive door operation. Furthermore, the system’s adaptive nature increases energy efficiency by eliminating needless door openings and lowering heat loss or air conditioning costs. In addition to improving user comfort and energy efficiency, the suggested system promotes overall safety and security by assuring prompt and regulated door closing, lowering the chance of accidents or illegal entrance. Furthermore, the system’s scalability and interoperability with existing infrastructure make it ideal for a variety of applications, including commercial buildings, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and public areas. Through experimental validation and performance assessment, we demonstrate the efficacy and dependability of the proposed automated door-closing system depending on the number of people.

摘要
