The Accelerated Evolution of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technologies Presents New Challenges for Aviation Training Centres
摘要
As the interest in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) continues to grow, there is a pressing need to train skilled operators who can effectively operate this advanced technology. In light of the growing relevance of unmanned aerial vehicle applications in civil aviation, particularly the increasing utilisation of UAVs in airport planning and management, there is a urgent necessity to prioritise the provision of quality and comprehensive training for professional specialists. As the demand for highly skilled professionals continues to rise, the aviation training centre (ATC) market segment offers a promising avenue for growth for those engaged in the provision of unmanned aerial vehicle pilot training. In light of the prospective application of drones at civil aviation enterprises in Azerbaijan and Europe, the article proposes the expansion of the range of educational services of AZAL Flight Training Centre by the introduction of new adaptive theoretical and practical courses on UAV pilot training. This will enable the centre to expand its capabilities, strengthen its market position and remain competitive in the rapidly changing field of aviation training.
