Study of the Possibility of Ground Water Pollution Due to Soil Contamination with Oil
摘要
The article is devoted to the study of patterns of groundwater pollution due to soil contamination with oil. Taking into account the content of pollutants contained in oil, in soil and water, as well as Rowlts’ law, an optimization problem was compiled and solved to identify the optimal relationship between soil density and pollutant concentration in the soil. It has been determined that, with the inverse relationship between the indicated values, the newly introduced safety factor can reach a minimum value, i.e. Water pollution may reach a maximum. Therefore, for less groundwater pollution, soil with greater density must be exposed to more oil and vice versa. Thus, it was determined that the minimum volume of pollutant transferred to groundwater can be achieved if an area of soil with a lower density is flooded with a smaller volume of oil and vice versa. Key words: soil, pollutant, groundwater, organic environment, density.
