Ethics for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine
摘要
AI promises to revolutionize medicine by offering enhanced patient satisfaction, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiencies. However, various ethical challenges have emerged, ranging from data privacy, bias, and transparency to validation, patient autonomy, and core values related to the human aspect of decision-making, accountability, and integrity. While it is a moral imperative to apply novel technologies that can improve healthcare, guidelines are needed to ensure the safe application of these new tools. As guarantors of patient health through the doctor-patient relationship, physicians are required to safeguard health and uphold values. The guidelines presented herein could serve as a foundation for the safe and ethical application of AI technologies in the healthcare industry.
