Lipoatrophy Caused by Steroid Injections Given to Treat Granulomas and Siliconomas: How to Reverse It
摘要
Localized acquired lipoatrophy, specifically that resulting from depot steroids like triamcinolone acetonide, is often injected to treat the inflammatory response associated with siliconomas. Different options exist for the treatment of lipoatrophy caused by the local injection of steroids. We describe different treatment alternatives and their results on four patients with different degrees of injury involving different body areas.
