Complications in Penile Fillers
摘要
In the last decade, penile plastic and aesthetic surgery has been fueled by the search for solutions to improve the appearance and masculinity of the male genital organ. Penile fillers are the subject of numerous studies, which explore common interests, specifications, and patient preferences regarding penile aesthetic procedures. One hypothesis is the increased acceptance and demand for non-surgical procedures, such as PMMA fillers, offering a less invasive option for those seeking to improve penile aesthetics. Furthermore, research investigates psychological, social, and cultural aspects related to body image and male sexuality, providing relevant insights for clinical care and the provision of appropriate healthcare. This chapter presents the theoretical foundation of the topic, general complications related to the procedure, specific aspects of PMMA use, and patient care.
