In recent years, there has been an important interest in the epidemiology of diseases caused by the injection of modeling substances. The great damage caused to people who request fillers for aesthetic purposes has become a global health problem and Cuba does not escape this reality. The frequency of complications is increasing, the infiltrated substances are becoming more antigenic, and the symptoms are more acute and lethal, which requires a serious epidemiological analysis that warns once again about the incidence of iatrogenic allogeneic disease in Cuba. The generalization through social networks with promotion and commercial propaganda of impact on beauty, are factors associated with the rise of the disease that recruits people of any age and sex regardless of intellectual level and the multiple actions to alert about the risk of an incurable but preventable disease.
