This chapter discusses issues of funding and publishing in writing an encyclopedia generally and in particular for the Encyclopedia of Computer Science. Topics include finding the financing from a professional organization, foundation, or government agency; speaking publicly to sell the idea of the project and market the final result; and identifying an appropriate publisher and working with them.
