Increasing the Efficiency and Quality of Compressor Units Heat Exchanger
摘要
The purpose of the paper is to increase the efficiency of heat exchangers (HE) for compressor units (CU), as well as reduce their cost prices by improving the technology of ribbing the tubes by the electrospark alloying (ESA) method. The scientific novelty is that the proposed technology for ribbing the HE tubes for the compressor units is used for the first time. A new method for ribbing the tubes in the CU production, owing to changing the surface layer roughness by the ESA method and thus adjusting the heat exchange plane, has a great practical importance. This is because the roughness of a tube surface layer can be changed when using a metal electrode instrument (EI) as an anode (alloying electrode) while the coating made of the EI material is formed on the surface of the tube. This is the case when using an EI made of graphite, which in the form of carbon diffuses into the surface layer of the tube with changing both the surface roughness and its properties, for example increasing the hardness if the tube is made of steel. When using a metal EI, it is possible to apply a coating to the surface of the tubes, both as a continuous layer and in the form of separate rings up to 2 mm high. In the case, the width of the separate rings and the distance between them are determined by technological, structural and economic necessity and can be from one to ten mm and more. The use of a new process for ribbing the HE tubes by the ESA method has a number of advantages over the existing ones. Those are as follows: Low energy consumption and cost; high manufacturability of the design; saving non-ferrous and high-alloy metal; the performance and durability of the ribs do not depend on the reliability of fastening the ribs on the surface of the tube; the method can be used for the tubes having a diameter of 1 mm and more.
