The Impact and Diversity of Digital Twin Technology and Immersive Learning in Education: A Case Study of the University “Aleksandër Moisiu”

The article studies the impact and variety of immersive learning and digital twin technology at University Aleksandër Moisiu. The incorporation of digital twins, or virtual replicas of physical objects, with immersive learning environments like virtual and augmented reality offers new ways to improve educational experiences as educational institutions use technology more and more. This study highlights the key advantages of modern technologies, such as enhanced student involvement, individualized instruction, and the development of transferable skills across a range of subject areas. Students seize the opportunity to monitor real-time energy statistics, and prototype interactive narrative experiences through real-time simulations created with platforms such as Unity 3D and Microsoft Azure Digital Twins. These findings highlight how well simulation-based learning enhances transdisciplinary skill development, critical thinking, and practical comprehension. It simultaneously tackles possible obstacles such faculty training requirements, resource constraints, and technical hurdles. The research intends to offer important insights into successfully utilizing digital twin and immersive learning technologies to promote a varied and inclusive educational landscape by examining certain courses and curriculum that integrate these innovations. The results highlight how these technologies have the ability to revolutionize education both at University Aleksandër Moisiu and elsewhere.
