The Origin of Matter

The “Big Bang,” which began when an immense amount of energy collapsed and condensed into a singularity and then exploded, initiated the expansion of the Universe and defined the dimensions of Time and Space. The initial period following the “Big Bang” involved massive processes lasting millions of years, often described as the “evolution of matter.” The first stage of matter formation, also known as “nuclear evolution,” began with the compression of fundamental particles to form atomic components and the creation of light elements, such as hydrogen (H2) and helium (He), which, through nuclear fusion, formed heavier elements like lithium (Li), beryllium (Be), and boron (B). These elements continued to serve as the bases for the formation of even heavier and more diverse elements, still used today in countless natural and artificial (human-made) processes.
