The Outcome of Endodontic Treatment
摘要
Outcome assessment is a critical step in any medical treatment modality. Endodontic treatments, in their various forms, are performed with the goal of preserving and curing teeth affected by disease in the dental pulp and/or periapical tissues, ensuring that they remain symptom-free and exhibit a stable and healthy clinical and radiographic status. As such, questions regarding outcomes primarily focus on three key categories: tooth retention, pain relief, pulp vitality, and periapical health.
