Modifying Tooth Form
摘要
This chapter will describe the numerous pathways that adhesive dentistry can modify and improve tooth appearance through composite bonding. Principles of planning are described through patient assessment and the creation of a proposed blueprint for change by laboratory procedures such as a ‘wax-up’. Key aspects of the influence of gingival profile, tooth size, shape, position and reflective properties are detailed and how these can be changed and manipulated to improve the final result. Methods for the concealment of interdental space and black triangles are described.
