Design of a Command Control Server Searching System Centered Around DNS Analyses
摘要
A DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack is a type of attack method in which an access traffic volume that is beyond the capacity of the target website is generated all at once, paralyzing the service system so that service requests from legitimate users are denied. Many different approaches have been developed to respond to such attacks, including targeting the attacking party, objectives of attacks, and the network in-between. However, none of these have succeeded in solving the problem completely. The purpose of this study is to develop an efficient strategy to respond to DDoS attacks by utilizing the analysis of the network traffic generated by the bots or malicious codes that are used in the preparation of attacks or attacks themselves at the source of these DDoS, which will help remove the malicious codes or bots to shut down the hostile traffic in the middle.
