This article delves into the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) techniques used for recognizing the Latin Braille alphabet in Uzbek, the script designed for individuals with visual impairments. The text recognition process was achieved by applying a combination of various image processing and analysis methods. In particular, significant attention was given to adaptive thresholding techniques and the determination of text tilt angles.
