Bank Financial Performance Through Fintech Innovation in Jordanian Commercial Banks
摘要
The study investigates how fintech innovations affect the financial performance of Jordanian commercial banks through an examination of artificial intelligence and machine learning, blockchain technology, and digital payments. A structured questionnaire was used to collect responses from 300 banking professionals in Jordan. The study employed structural equation modeling (SEM) executed through SmartPLS4 software. The findings indicate digital payment emerges as the most efficient factor for enhancing bank financial performance, followed by blockchain technology and AI and machine learning. Financial performance indicators of Jordanian banks experience substantial improvement when technology mainstreaming in the financial sector occurs. This research offers empirical data about how fintech innovations help develop bank performance in emerging markets, especially those found in the Middle East. The study delivers essential knowledge that benefits managers of financial institutions along with governmental stakeholders and tech developers aiming to enhance services through modern technology.
