To safeguard the well-being and independence of the wheelchair user (WCU). The WCU must undergo the essential wheelchair training. Proper wheelchair training (WCT) helps the wheelchair user to easily navigate through different environments maintaining health and safety without interdependence on another person. Many injuries in wheelchair users have been found so it becomes essential to assess the influence of WCT on the satisfaction of WCU with their respective wheelchairs. The present research is focused on two groups of WCUs who have been undertaken wheelchair training and who haven't undergone wheelchair training. The results show that the WCUs who have undergone the WCT have shown better satisfaction with wheelchair usage over other groups however irrespective of the WCT respondents from both groups have shown negative results when it comes to support provision from wheelchair to the parts such as neck, trunk, back, shoulder, arms and head.
