Case studies, including Charity: Water and nonprofit ERP adoption, provide context for successful transformation approaches. Key findings emphasize that automation greatly improves HR functionality and aids strategic decision-making, although limitations such as restricted adaptability, delayed testing, and communication gaps were observed. The study identifies significant gaps in nonprofits' digital skills, funding, and readiness. The report suggests investing in safe, scalable platforms, developing skills, and implementing complete digital strategies to address problems. Although digital transformation in charity is complicated, this study shows it is necessary and attainable. Strategic planning, stakeholder participation, and ongoing iteration are the keys to enabling nonprofit organizations better to fulfill their missions in a digitally changing world.
