Perhaps one of the attributes demonstrating outstanding improvement in to women in the Kingdom of Bahrain is the socio economic development of these women. They actively participated when sociocultural and political transformations were made which had great value in the economy and aided in the building of the Bahrain. This comprehensive review of literature focuses on the historical and contemporary aspects of women’s affairs in Bahrain and assesses their roles in policy making, business, and community engagement. The paper highlights major works done by Bahraini women and recommends how to enhance these works for the continuous growth of the nation.
