Women’s Opinion On Day Off During Menstruation
摘要
Menstruation impacts women in various ways on a daily basis. This study examines opinions on menstrual leave using a cross-sectional design. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires from 359 menstruating women, aged between 15 and 50 years. The research explored participants’ menstrual history and their views on menstrual leave. The findings show that 74.1% support menstrual leave due to issues like dysmenorrhea and general discomfort, while 25.9% oppose it, citing manageable symptoms, concerns about stigma, and practicality of taking leave. This study underscores the need for policies in educational and workplace settings that accommodate women’s menstrual health.
