Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a methodology designed to maintain productivity, safety, and quality systems through machinery, processes, and staff that contribute economically to a company. Consequently, its aims enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Autonomous Maintenance (AM) is one of the fundamental components of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). AM is a maintenance method that designates the machine operator as responsible for essential maintenance to avert equipment degradation. This work intends to deploy Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) supported by Autonomous Maintenance to enhance the availability of a beverage production line. Consequently, it can be asserted that AM was attained, as the operators were able to perform autonomous diagnostics, cleaning, arranging, and daily checks of essential equipment, thereby ensuring optimal operation. The effectiveness of the TPM technique was confirmed, leading to increased equipment efficiency, enhanced production systems, and optimum workplace conditions. The OEE improved from 57% to 77%, in addition, a survey carried out among operators involved in the process recorded an improvement in employee satisfaction in their jobs of 26%. Thus, the application of the TPM technique in a company was evidently beneficial.

摘要
