The following two chapters present the findings of the Peace System Analysis (PSA) in Medellín, the local peace meanings, obstacles to peace and peace capacities in Medellín. In line with Chapter 3 , this chapter will first provide a short background of Medellín’s sociopolitical context. After that, the understanding of peace will be presented according to the interviewees in the city. As will become clear in the second part of this chapter, while the meanings attributed to peace differ between Kosovo and Medellín, the majority of interlocutors in both contexts expressed the belief that they do not live in peace. Among those who did describe experiencing peace, it was often qualified as limited or relative.
